It’s nearly a month now since our female osprey, affectionately know as ‘Lady’ departed Loch of the Lowes having successfully completed her 23rd breeding season. Only time will tell whether she’ll be back next Spring, however in the meantime we have the perfect gift to keep her in your minds through the Autumn & Winter.

Fly Lady Fly is a song celebrating all ospreys but in particular our famous female – a record-breaking bird who, for many years, has braved all sorts of challenges flying to & from Perthshire from as far away as West Africa – a round trip of up to 7,000 miles.

Featuring the vocals of Ruairidh McDonald and Fiona Kennedy, the CD also includes two other tracks – New Shoes by Paulo Nutini and The Crossing Over by Marcus Hummon & Fiona Kennedy – both of which feature in the new Scottish musical production ‘The Kist’.

For every copy of the CD sold, a donation will be made to the work of the Scottish Wildlife Trust.

We’ve been selling them at Loch of the Lowes since Fiona & Ruairidh very kindly came and gave a special performance of the song in the visitor centre earlier this summer but they can now also be purchased through the Scottish Wildlife Trust’s online shop.
