Bird flu outbreak

The current outbreak of avian influenza (bird flu) is taking a heavy toll on Scotland’s wild birds.

Please call the Defra helpline on 03459 335577 if you find any dead birds of prey, three or more dead gulls or waterfowl (swans, geese, ducks), or five or more dead birds of other species.

Do not touch or pick up any dead or visibly sick birds and please avoid disturbing wild birds at this critical time.

Feed the birds

Every purchase from the award-winning Vine House Farm helps to support wildlife conservation.
