Autumn Adventures!

Today at Loch of the Lowes wildlife artist Derek Robertson gave an excellent talk & presentation on his work & the wildlife he encounters. This has certainly encouraged our audience to get out & about even more through the autumn & winter months.

Please could I ask you all to observe the Scottish Outdoor Access Code. Our wildlife has a difficult enough time so please do your utmost to avoid disturbance & if animals or birds move away then you are too close. Many species currently at Loch of the Lowes are winter visitors seeking shelter & food.

On Friday 11th October there will be a ranger led Night Watch Walk commencing at 18.00. Learn about bats, owls, moths & more by torchlight. Tea & coffee will be provided. Charges are £5 for adults, £4 concessions & members & £2 for children. Warm, waterproof clothes & footwear are recommended.

There will be a family fun day to celebrate Awesome Autumn on 19th & 20th October. There will be woodland themed activities including scavenger hunts & leaf collages. Usual visitor charges apply.
