Ayrshire extends for over 60 miles along the shore of the Firth of Clyde, rising from coast to a crescent of hills and moorland. The Scottish Wildlife Trust Group works to support all types of wildlife in its 15 reserves and throughout the wider countryside.
What we do
We aim to update you on what is going on in your area, inform you on wildlife topics or particular species through our walks and talks programme, giving you the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills.
How to get involved
Volunteers are urgently needed to help out with all aspects of our work, including:
Publicity for meetings, talks and other events
Practical conservation work on our reserves
Collecting money for the Trust at events
Manning local events
Monitoring proposals for developments that could affect wildlife
