Upcoming Events at Loch of the Lowes

This weekend come and celebrate the beauty of spring wildflowers with a range of activities at the Loch of the Lowes visitor centre.  All weekend on 17th and 18th we have Blooming Lovely family fun activities  such as craft, quizzes and a flower detective trail- all free with general admission.

On Saturday the 17th from 1-3pm, the ranger is offering a Guided Walk: Get to Know Your Wildflowers. Learn to ID some familiar local flowers, and get to grips with basic methods of identification. Suitable for all ages, gentle walking , ID guides provided.  Charge: £3 adults, £2 concessions or members, £1 children. Booking on 01350 727337.

Intermediate Wildlife Photography Course with Kevin Hacker Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th may. Back by popular demand this course offers a chance to really improve your digital photography. Learn how to improve the technical, artistic and field craft aspects of your work, with practical exercises and a field session based in hides etc. Friday evening and Saturday morning sessions, with a small group ensuring individual attention. Cost: £65 adult, £60 member or concession- booking essential on -01350 727337.
