Webcam Disruption this Morning – 24th March

Good morning all, we will have some  disruption to the webcam service this morning whilst our technical team try a few more tweaks to improve the web cam streaming quality. Please rest assured all is well on the loch and we have volunteers and staff on site continuing to monitor the birds, as always, ‘in person’, so we will let you know of any major developments.

The male osprey has been bringing in sticks to the nest this morning and spending a lot of time on housework in the glorious spring sunshine- even if it is minus 5 degrees!

We hope to have full webcam service again by this afternoon- thank you for your patience.

Q: What was the strange light over the loch last night? It was to the left of and above the nest.

A: It was the moons reflection- a waning moon over the cloudless loch- a beautiful sight!
