An Introduction to BASIC
Wildlife Photography and Field-craft
Workshop May 25th and 26th 2012
A basic photography workshop encompassing some of the rudimentary field-craft and technical skills needed to capture some of the abundant wildlife around the SWT Loch of the Lowes reserve.
A talk and hands on session Friday evening (6-9.30pm), followed by Saturday early morning exclusive access to hides etc with practical guidance (7am-10am).
Hosted by local photographer Kevin Hacker and Perthshire Ranger Emma Rawling. Maximum 8 participants to ensure individual tuition.
Loch of the Lowes Visitor Centre Dunkeld
Cost: £50 per person, £45 concessions and members.
Includes usual admission fee, tea, coffee etc.

Please note: this course is most suitable for people looking to start out in wildlife photography with compact or digital SLR cameras. It covers topics such as getting the best out of your camera, composition and wildlife fieldcraft and ethics. If you have lots of previous experience in photography, you may be more interested in our intermediate course which will be being offered by the same team later in the year.
