Loch of the Lowes Update

There are big things happening at Loch of the Lowes over the next few weeks, with some major Construction underway. We are building two new toilets for visitors and most importantly installing state of the art eco Sewage treatment facility to better protect the loch from nutrient runoff. This huge undertaking means lots of traffic, heavy machines etc so for everyone’s safety:

The Visitor Centre and all Hides will be

CLOSED MONDAY TO FRIDAY

For the next few weeks.

We will however, be open as normal on

Saturdays and Sundays 10.30am- 4pm.

Why not enjoy a walk along our lochside trail (at the eastern end of the carpark) or a drive along the loch to view wildlife from its laybys in the meantime?

If you need to contact the staff, please call the office on 01350 727337 from the car park- PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO WALK TO THE VC through the cordon.

Many thanks for your patience and rest assured we are working as hard as we can to complete all this work in plenty of time for our Ospreys returning in March and for your enjoyment this spring.
