Good Morning folks!

As I started the species count of the day this morning I watched a Red Squirrel hop onto one of our feeders and help himself to a good breakfast. Yesterday was a particularly good day for squirrel activity-we had two individuals that made four appearances-one had a dark brown hue to its tail and the other had a light blond tip. This is the best Red Squirrel activity we’ve had this year, although it’s looking very doubtful that we’ll see any kits at all. Anybody have any reds in their garden they’d like to lend us?!

Happy Blogging and take care,
