Good morning folks!

As I made my way to the hides earlier I saw that our skein of 40 odd Canada Geese were back on the Loch in full splendour and all were  attempting to feed on a small patch of open water. As the group starts to break up we should catch a glimspe of our ‘freak’ bar headed geese that were spotted mingling amongst the others last Autumn.

As January is beginning to draw to a close the spring extravaganza is starting to get underway. our Great Spotted Woodpeckers have now begun their ritualistic ‘tree trunk tapping’ in an attempt to impress a potential mate. Now where is this snow everyone keeps predicting?
