Loch of the Lowes Wildlife Blog 24th January 2011
Morning folks!
I can’t believe how quickly January seems to be going. The ducks are already mating! I have only seen a few hurried attempts at mating on the Loch earlier, I do hope they realise there’s another month of winter left! The loch appears to be clearing gradually, Jonathan spotted a male Teal yesterday and earlier I spotted a few Goldeneye desperately trying to dive underneath the ice.
