Madainn Mhath! (Good morning)

After the birdsong discussion took a tangent onto songs/tunes (and latterly which you would have played at your funeral), it got me thinking of songs inspired by wildlife and nature. Do you know of any songs/tunes about or that are inspired by wildlife/nature?
I have 2 favourites, both Scottish folk tunes, the first I tried to upload at the beginning of March for the hopeful arrival of our ospreys, but it was too big to fit in the blog, but I have found the link:
Come Home Pretty Bird – Emily Smith
Follow the Heron – Karine Polwart

Both these fabulous artists were involved in the Darwin Song Project at the Shrewsbury Folk festival, in celebration of the Charles Darwin Bi-Centennial and Shrewsbury’s most famous son:
Darwin Song Project

Another fav of mine:
Nightingale – Norah Jones

Happy blogging!
