Loch of the Lowes Info 1st Oct
After a long, tedious look at last nights footage, Mr One Spot (or Moss as cleverly suggested by Chrissy) didn’t make a single appearance last night. He must have found a delicious meal elsewhere or had decided to stay in the warmth of his cosy bed!
There were a couple of dear who stayed a short while and two hungry hedgehogs, but after 10pm, the wildlife vanished as the wind picked up, the rain started and the temperature dropped.
We have had a few visits from a sparrowhawk over the last week and this morning at 10.19am, he landed on Piney’s table. I’ll try my best to get a picture up this afternoon. He seems pretty useless though as he has failed on every attempt to catch anything here! I hope he has been more successful elsewhere.
