Another grand morning at the Lowes!
Over the past day or two the juveniles are stretching both of their wings out more frequently. They are also gradually able to stand on their feet for more than a few wobbly seconds. It seems odd that such well developed feet and legs would take so long to support evergrowing bodies. Perhaps that is exactly why it does take such a time. Of course, balance is an aspect which goes in tandem with the extending of both of their wings…
New nesting material continues to freshen up the nest habitat (and the female, post meal).
With the chicks’ metabolism nearly at it’s peak, Pop will be busy supplying their ever expanding appetite.
