Camera Problems

Our apologies for the occassional blackouts on the camera – for some reason the camera seems to switch itself off every few hours for a wee rest, and has to be manually reset – but we are trying to get to the bottom of this problem as soon as possible.

However, if you are having problems getting any picture at all, or sound, it is most likely that you need to update your computer veiwing softwear. Here is the advice from our Technical department:

” The Webcam is working fine at our end and  has been tested ok on our Mac  using Safari with flip4mac installed. It also tests ok on Internet Explorer 8 and Google Chrome. Sound comes through on all of those. Something funny going on with the plugin [softwear patch]  for Firefox browser and we are working on this.   I  suggest folk make sure they have the latest browser and media player updates for now.”

Thanks for your patience.
