Camera repairs update

Following enquiries from visitors regarding progress with the camera repairs we would like to clarify the current situation.

The temporary fix put in place by Lindsay our volunteer camera technician has enabled us to stream the osprey HD camera until Blue 44 & the male leave on migration, as well as the squirrel feeder cam.

Although the damage caused to the cameras by the thunderstorm was very unfortunate, it has given us an opportunity to review the current camera setup. We will be seeking expert advice (none of the staff are technology wizards!) over the next month or so to determine whether the current setup could be improved upon, before purchasing equipment to replace the damaged components.

Consequently, at present we are not able to give a definitive timescale for the repairs or give further details of the repair work to be carried out.
