Osprey diary 9th May

Good morning osprey watchers near and far!

The Laird is on the ball this morning, bringing a fish in at 8.20am.  Lady has had her breakfast and is back on the nest doing what she does best.  You may notice that the female looks down in towards the nest occasionally, like she is listening intently to something.  The chicks will actually make noise from within the eggs and mum can hear this.  It’s a good sign that all is well within the eggs and the chicks are healthy.  Fingers crossed!

Please keep your observations coming.
