During winter opening (November-February) the observation hide is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Crannog hide and toilets will be open when staff are present. Loch of the Lowes Visitor Centre and Wildlife Reserve covers 98 hectares near Dunkeld. From early April to late August, the star attraction is a pair of breeding ospreys, which nest just 150 metres from our observation hide. Highlights include:
The Visitor Centre is open daily from 1 March to 31 October (from 10 am to 5 pm) and from
1 November to 28 February, Friday to Sunday only (from 10.30 am to 4 pm). Admission prices are as follows:
