How you can help

Whether you choose to volunteer, donate, raise funds or leave a legacy to the Trust, your help will make a real difference to our work protecting Scotland’s wildlife.

Your personal data is paramount and here at the Scottish Wildlife Trust we take handling your privacy seriously. In recognition of this, we wanted to let you know we have recently updated our Privacy Notice.

The following sections have been revised:

  • Section 3 (b): “Why do we collect your personal data?” – changes relate to how we use data submitted as part of event bookings.
  • Section 4 (a): “What kind of personal data do we collect and how do we collect it?” – changes relate to the data collected during event bookings.
  • Section 5: “Sharing your data” – changes relate to the sharing of data with other attendees at an event.

In June, the following sections were revised:

  • Section 3 (d): “Why do we collect your personal data?” – changes relate to how we communicate with you.
  • Section 4 (b): “Getting to know you better” – changes relate to specialist agencies which we may occasionally work alongside.
  • Section 5: “Sharing your data” – changes relate to increasing our 3rd party security.

You don’t need to do anything, and these changes won’t affect your marketing preferences or the emails we send you.
