The Lowes Osprey Nest webcam and the Lowes Squirrel Cam are currently not streaming to the web.

This post may come as a relief for all those who thought the problem was at their end!

Unfortunately, the issues cannot be easily resolved but rest assured they are being attended to and we look forward to being ‘live’ and once again sharing the antics of our local autumnal wildlife.

Road Closure

The road between Dunkeld and Loch of the Lowes is currently closed on weekdays.

As mentioned in our previous post:

“The A923 between Dunkeld and Loch of the Lowes will be closed from Monday 16 October onwards due to roadworks.

These will start at 8am on Monday 16 October and last until 5pm on Friday 20 October. The road will also close on weekdays between 7:30am  and 5pm from the 23rd of October onwards, with a possibility of running into November.

During the closures a diversion will be in place along the Old Military Road, and you will still be able to walk to Loch of the Lowes from Dunkeld via the Fungarth Walk throughout the duration of this disruption.”

However, it is open as usual on Saturday and Sundays.

We are open 7 days a week and will give a warm welcome and a free hot or cold drink to anyone who walks over from Dunkeld to visit us. (NB There are also alternative driving routes).
