Satellite Tracking Appeal Update: Success!!
Dear Supporters,
In last week’s post on March 14th we announced the great news that we had been given the go-ahead to continue with the Satellite tracking project into 2013 and launched a fundraising appeal.
The response since then can only be described as phenomenal. Incredibly, donations over the past week come to a grand total of £3,945!
Thanks to each and every one of you who has contributed – we couldn’t have done it without you.
Given that the window for purchasing satellite tags in time for this summer is still open we would now like to aim to raise £7,000 which would enable us to secure a 2nd tag.
If we don’t reach this target then any money over and above the £3,500 for the first tag will be ring-fenced and retained for future satellite tagging costs.
If you haven’t donated yet but would like to help us in our push for a 2nd tag then please go to www.scottishwildlifetrust.org.uk/donate/donate-now/stage1/ and select ‘Osprey satellite tracking’.
For more info on how Satellite tagging works then check out the satellite tracking section of our Osprey FAQs:

Many thanks again
