Osprey Migration News: 17th May

Blue YD is heading north again! Our young satellite tracked osprey was only 15miles from Dunkirk this afternoon and heading towards the channel at 1pm. It seems he decided just after 8am this morning to head north west, after roosting overnight again by the right hand side of his wee woodland lake in northern France.  He had covered over 75miles by 1pm and could conceivably cross the channel today if the weather is favourable. Anyone in Essex/Suffolk/Norfolk corridor look out for an osprey dropping by with an aerial on board!
