Webcam still down

Morning everyone

Our webcam is still not working after yesterday’s huge thunderstorm, we’re trying to reboot it at the moment but if that doesn’t work it could be out of action for a few days.

The hail and thunderstorm sat over the centre for about half and hour overwhelming our gutters and flooding the paths and roads. Fortunately today is dry and bright and everything is slowly drying out.

The Visitor Centre has reopened after losing power and water from 5.30pm yesterday until 10am this morning although we still have no phones. Our loch level is incredibly high, almost at a record level, with our water level indicator marker almost underwater. Our water birds such as Great Crested Grebe, Mallard, Mute Swan, Gooseander seem to be enjoying the extra water!

We’ll keep you updated.
