Osprey Season Preparations

Rest assured our preparations for the imminent arrival of our Ospreys on spring migration are well underway.

Here is a link to an amazing picture taken by John Monks of our team on the nest tree on Monday installing the all new Night vision/backup camera. Spare a thought for Lindsey the chap on the left, who is our stalwart VOLUNTEER camera technician, not a professional climber! The tree is approximately 20 meters high so this is no mean feat.

Sorry the Blog won’t seem to upload photos today but this link will take you to the picture  which also appeared in the Evening telegraph today:

All the cameras have been serviced and are ready to roll for the new season.

Our HQ staff who have been working hard on a new webcam streaming service, assure me that they have sorted a new provider, and are in the final testing stages for uploading the Osprey nest camera images. Hopefully we will be live on the web again very soon.

All we need now is the birds to arrive safely!
