Loch of the Lowes Construction Update

The construction going on here at Loch of the Lowes is getting on really well, helped by the mild and dry weather in the last week or so. The good news is that the major work of installing the new septic system and all its pipe-work is complete so the big diggers etc have left site. This means we are now able to reopen the drive and access to our viewing hides, Monday to Friday. However, as the toilet block and new shed are still under construction , and we have no running water etc, the Visitor centre itself will remain closed Monday to Friday for another week or two.

We are open as normal Saturday and Sunday 10.30-4pm .

Thanks for your patience and we hope you will be very pleased with the results.

The Visitor Centre

IS CLOSED MONDAY TO FRIDAY

because of construction work on site, installing new toilets and a sewage treatment system,

until Monday 12th March approximately.

The Observation Hide is OPEN

Meanwhile, why not also enjoy a walk along our Lochside trail to your right, or drive along the Loch’s viewing lay-bys?

The Visitor Centre is Open as normal Saturday and Sunday 10.30-4pm

If you are accessing the Office or Hide, please take care of builder’s traffic on the drive.

We apologise for any inconvenience whilst this vital work is carried out. If you need to contact our staff, please call the office on 01350 727337 from here. Thank you.
