Coastal crawl walk

Next week the 9th annual Angus Glens Walking Festival, organised by Angus Council, will take place.  The festival will see events held across this wonderful county, which has been described as “Scotland in miniature” from the rugged peaks of the Cairngorm National Park, to the fabulous and stunning coastline.

As part of the extensive programme of walks, Richard Averiss and I will be leading a guided walk entitled, “Coastal Crawl” which takes us from Mains of Usan to Montrose Basin Wildlife Centre via Scurdieness Lighthouse and Ferryden village.

Last week, Richard and I were interviewed by BBC Radio Scotland to ask us all about the walk and it was featured on their “Out of Doors” programme on Saturday morning.

You can hear our delightful tones by clicking here and skipping forward to 44 minutes.
