Loch of the Lowes Wildlife Blog 5th February 2011
Good morning folks!
Its very mild this morning and the air is filled with bird song. I think the weather is going to deteriorate to heavy rain later, I shan’t bank on it being too busy today!
As I sat in the hide earlier I saw 23 Goldeneye all busy diving for their breakfasts. I could have sworn I heard the distinctive dry whistle of a teal coming from the middle of the Loch. I do hope I wasn’t imagining it!
