Morning folks,

Ok, so perhaps I spoke to soon yesterday when I said spring was in the air…

There’s a distinct chilly feel  this morning despite the sunshine and looking at our thermometer I can see that the temperature dropped to -4 last night. Perhaps I’ll hold off on the shorts and t-shirts for a while yet! Hopefully it will warm up as the day goes on…

I felt a bit like the pied piper this morning as the daily entourage of mallards and pheasants chased me in a desperate scramble to be first to any spilled seed.

I’ll be keeping a beady eye out for the brambling that was around over the weekend. I didn’t spot him yesterday but here’s hoping for better luck today.
