Osprey Diary 6th May
Morning folks, sorry its taken a while to post today- I was on night nest protection watch so I’ve only just arrived at Lowes. Our faithful volunteers have been watching since dawn though, and they tell me we had a nice delivery of a perch at 8.15 this morning and we’ve just had another smooth changevoer , with the male now on the eggs.
Sorry if you feel the blog isn’t updated often enough or that your comments sometimes take a while to appear. Please be aware that we try our best to keep up with the amazing demand for this media ( it is new to us this year too) and that we have to fit in checking the computer with all our other duties, such as welcoming visitors to the reserve , and the osprey nest protection watch. Particularly if I have been on night watch duty the evening before, it may be late morning before I get a chance to post news. I will do my best to start each days post the night before from now on, so that all comments are kept together on the relevant day- I hope that helps. Thanks for your patience.
