Inverness Wildlife Watch group is a new group, based at Millburn Academy and working in partnership with the Highlife Highland Youth Development Officer.

This group is for members aged 10 – 15
Young people aged 16 – 18 have the opportunity to help with the group as Young Rangers
Sessions are £1 per person

What we do

If you love the outdoors and want to learn more about the wildlife around you, with other like minded young people, then this is the group for you! We’ll be doing loads of different activities from photography and art, to trips out and wildlife spotting.

Pond-dipping and nature walk

This month we’ll be heading out a bit further afield to see what wildlife lives in freshwater. Let’s take our nets and see what we can find!

Outdoor survivor

Let’s celebrate midsummer by learning about outdoor skills and living in the wild. We’ll think about the things animals have to do to survive and see if we can find ways to do the same. Join us for a wild tea and maybe even a camp fire…
