Edinburgh Wildlife Watch Group

Based in Holyrood Park for 5 – 10 year olds. We usually meet at Holyrood Park Education Centre on the last Sunday of every month from 10am – 12noon.  Most sessions are £2 unless otherwise stated.

What we do

The Edinburgh Wildlife Watch group arranges a variety of fun activities and events for children aged 5 to 10. From nature trails to scavenger hunts, arts and crafts to fungal forays, there are loads of cool ways to get closer to wildlife in your area.

We’re going back in time to explore what Holyrood Park used to look like millions of years ago in ‘deep time’. We’ll explore ancient beaches and volcanoes while keeping our eyes out for wildlife that are long lost cousins of the creatures that used to roam here long, long ago!

Spring has sprung at brilliant Bawsinch!

Spring has sprung and so has our wildlife! Bawsinch is alive with life as they shake off the winter blues and get ready for warmer weather. Let’s go on an adventure and explore the reserve and all its nooks and crannies!
