Edinburgh Wildlife Watch Group

Based in Holyrood Park for 5 – 10 year olds. We usually meet at Holyrood Park Education Centre on the last Sunday of every month from 10am – 12noon.  Most sessions are £2 unless otherwise stated.

What we do

The Edinburgh Wildlife Watch group arranges a variety of fun activities and events for children aged 5 to 10. From nature trails to scavenger hunts, arts and crafts to fungal forays, there are loads of cool ways to get closer to wildlife in your area.

Wide awake in winter wildlife!

10am  – 12pm

Lots of creatures sleep through the winter to avoid the cold but what about the ones that don’t – how do they survive?! Come along to Holyrood ranger centre and we’ll find out what the wide awake in winter wildlife get up to and how we can help them get through the coldest months!

Have a 'toadally' awesome time with the rangers!

10am  – 12pm

Join us when we meet the rangers of Holyrood who will take us into the park to find out more about the spring wildlife and hopefully meet the local toads!
