Join our dedicated team of volunteers on the Lein for a litter pick, making our coastal reserve cleaner for wildlife and people.
A monthly work party is held at the Trust’s Spey Bay Wildlife Reserve, a great opportunity to meet like-minded people and connect with nature. Join Beth our Reserves Project Officer to undertake essential reserve maintenance tasks at this wonderful coastal reserve. Following multiple floods over the winter, some rubbish has been washed up on the reserve. This month's task will consist of litter picking on the Lein, removing plastics, polystyrene and other litter to make the reserve a more attractive place for both wildlife and people.
Location: Spey Bay Wildlife Reserve, nearest postcode IV32 7NW. Meet at the carpark on the Lein in Kingston, grid ref NJ 33498 65658.
Bin bags, litter picks and gloves are provided. Please bring lunch, snacks and plenty to drink. Suitable outdoor clothing and footwear is recommended, including warm layers and waterproofs.
