Please note that we have had to cancel today's activity due to the snowy conditions. Apologies for the short notice.
A monthly work party is held at the Trust’s Spey Bay Wildlife Reserve, where you can join Beth, our Reserves Project Officer in the north of Scotland, to undertake essential reserve maintenance tasks at this wonderful coastal reserve.
This month's task will be the removal of non native species by knocking back dead stems of Japanese knotweed.
Tools and gloves are provided. Family friendly but children must be with an adult. Please bring lunch, snacks and plenty to drink. Suitable outdoor clothing and footwear is recommended, including warm layers and waterproofs. Parking nearby.
To find out more, and for any queries, please contact Beth Harwood, eharwood@scottishwildlifetrust.org.uk, 07920 468 567.
Location: Spey Bay Wildlife Reserve, grid reference NJ 349645, nearest postcode IV32 7PJ; meet at the car park in the woodlands.
Directions to car park: follow the road to Spey Bay for 3.6 miles.
