White – Tailed Eagle Update

The White-Tailed Eagle that was spotted last Thursday (24th October) hung around on the reserve for a further 2 days, being spotted again on Friday the 25th and Saturday the 26th. On all 3 occasions it was seen at low tide, sitting on the mud at the eastern side of the reserve. The yellow wing tag on the bird was marked with the number three, therefore indicating the individual yellow 3. One of our members was lucky enough to get a video of the eagle sitting out on the reserve. Just click on the link below to see the video, and keep and eye out for the hovering Kingfisher that managed to gatecrash the video!
