Summer Events
This summer at Montrose Basin Visitor Centre there will be a range of children’s activities taking place every Wednesday, each aiming to inspire children about nature.
17th July – The Art of Nature
Let your creative side go wild as we use natural materials to inspire our art. A morning of gathering natural materials around the centre grounds before returning to the centre and using the materials to create pieces of art.
24th July – Mud Glorious Mud
Join us out on the mud to discover and examine the many ‘muddy’ creatures living in the Basin. Wear wellies!

31st July – Wonderful Wildflowers
Join us to look at the wide variety of flowers in our grounds and sicover why insects love them too!
7th August – Rockpool Ramble
Come help us hunt for the creatures living in the rockpools. Wear wellies! Meet at the north end of Victoria Park, Arbroath.

All events take place between 10.30am and 12.00pm and cost £4 per child. Unless otherwise stated, meet at the visitor centre. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Booking is essential, book by calling 01674 676336 or emailing montrosebasin@swt.org.uk
