“The Sun always shines at the Falls of Clyde, or perhaps I’ve just been very lucky with my visits this year! One trip with a group of friends in the summer saw a stroll to see the peregrines and Corra Linn turn into a full circuit exploring both sides of the gorge. We explored Corra Castle in the sunshine before heading North. None of us knew how far away the bridge to cross back to New Lanark was; the longer we walked the more we thought about swimming across or floating on a rubber ring! Eventually we found the bridge and joined the Clyde Walkway- we were treated to a fantastic view of New Lanark and arrived back just in time for a cup of tea- result!”
