“”I have been a volunteer at the Falls of Clyde for many years. Not only with the conservation team but also helping out at the peregrines. As a member I recieved the appeal to donate to help purchase a piece of land next to Upper Nethan Gorge. This reserve isn’t far from the Falls of Clyde and after it had been successfully purchased the people who donated were invited to help in a tree planting day. Early in November we spent a very muddy afternoon under clear blue sky planting 500 trees. It was great to be part of a project to plant new woodlands in the Clyde valley and to meet all the people involved.”
