It’s nearly June already, can you believe it! This will be the third year that the Falls of Clyde has taken part in the Wildlife Trust’s national 30 Days Wild campaign. For those of you who don’t diligently memorise my weekly rambles, 30 Days Wild is a challenge to do one wild thing every day, also known as Random Acts of Wildness. It is all about making time to connect with nature around you, or doing something small yourself to help nature. 30 Days Wild encourages you to experience, learn and help your local wildlife.

It sounds crazy but it can often be difficult for us mere mortals to find the time to get outside and enjoy nature. Even I struggle sometimes and my job is looking after a wildlife reserve! Doing one thing doesn’t have to mean climbing a mountain or going golden eagle spotting (well maybe on the weekends when you have more time)! It can be anything from going for a picnic in your local park one lunchtime, learning how to identify the song of a robin, make a hedgehog feeding box for your garden or recording a butterfly sighting.

The possibilities are endless and we’re here to help you. Every day during the month of June at 8am we will be posting on our Twitter and Facebook pages one thing you can do each day.
