The Trust is calling for members of the public to remember wildlife as the autumnal weather begins to take hold.

Many birds migrate during this time of year, such as the 60,000 pink-footed geese that descend on Montrose Basin and can be seen at the People’s Postcode Lottery Goose Breakfast on Sunday 19 October.

However, there are a lot of species (such as robins) that stay put during the winter, and these species can always do with a bit of assistance to survive during the harsh winter months. Keeping a constant supply of food in your garden is one of the easiest ways to help.
