Getting onto the reserve

The Postman’s Path can be accessed from Coulnacraig, Achduart or Strathcanaird.

Access restrictions

The Postman’s Path is a seven mile route from Strathcanaird to Achiltibuie. This challenging route should only be undertaken by properly equipped and experienced hillwalkers. In good weather, it promises to be a day you’ll never forget; in bad weather and poor visibility, the path becomes slippery and difficult to follow.
