Ospreys reunited!

Our ospreys have reunited just in time for Easter Weekend!

Last night we saw another male close to the nest and he was present again this morning when LM12 touched down on the nest at 11:41.

It was quite something to see three ospreys – our regular pair and the ‘rogue’ male flying above the nest – but the other bird was fairly quickly frightened off by our resident male.

Once the stranger departed LM12 and LF15 wasted no time and quickly made an attempt at breeding. If this has been successful it’s  possible we could see an egg in just over a week’s time.

Webcam issues

Our webcam has been experiencing some issues with buffering and we’ve been working behind the scenes to fix this. It seems to working well after some changes to the settings, so have an enjoyable Easter watching our ospreys!
