Tackling Wildlife Crime

At 2pm tomorrow, Sunday 8th May, we will be very pleased to welcome Alan Stewart to Loch of the Lowes to talk about his “50 years of tackling wildlife crime”.

Alan is a retired Wildlife Crime Officer and a published author of five books on the subject. He is still very much involved with protecting our wildlife and writing his blog Wildlife Detective. This gives a fascinating insight into the continuing struggle to prevent egg thieves, hare coursing, raptor poisoning etc.

Please come along! If you have one of his books why not bring it with you to have it signed and if you have not purchased his latest, A Wealth of Wildlife, now is your chance! This will be an entertaining and informative talk about the fight against cruelty and the persecution of our wildlife.

The talk is free but normal visitor centre admission charges apply, donations welcome.
