Wonder-Falls!!!

Hi folks, as you may have noticed it has been raining quite a bit over the past 24 hours which can mean only one thing: Very full waterfalls!!

With so much rain water flowing into the river the falls are truly spectacular today, making a big difference from earlier this week when there was only a small volume of water reaching Bonnington Linn and Corra Linn. The hydro electric station usually diverts a large amount of the water through pipes to the surge tank and returns it to the river further down river, but with more water able to pass over the weir it truly makes the falls look more impressive.

So if you are in the mood for a walk in the woods or fancy getting some snaps of the waterfalls this weekend is a fantastic time to head on to the reserve!

Hope to see you there!
