Alan Patrick is one of our visitor centre volunteers who some of you may have met while visiting the reserve. Here he recalls some of his highlights from working with the Falls of Clyde team!

“I started volunteering in the Falls of Clyde visitor centre in March of this year. I have found chatting to the visitors particularly interesting since they all have stories to tell about the wildlife they have seen and ar often very knowlegdable. I am sure I have learnt as much from them as they have from me! For instance, because of one conversation I spent a day of my holiday in Dumfries spottingred kites! A truly unforgettable experience.”
