Cherry Bowen, our previous Visitor Centre Assistant, recalls one of her highlights from working at the Falls of Clyde:

“One of my favorite attractions in the visitor centre was the honey bees in the back room. They were constantly active and it was fascinating watching their comings and goings, always bringing back pollen or performing waggle dances. Throughout the summer months they could be seen swarming past the windows of the visitor centre, and it was amazing to see the excitment in the younger visitors when they saw the hive, with all its honey comb and buzzing residents.”
