Tree planting event on Saturday 3rd November
Last year the Scottish Wildlife Trust sent out a fundraising appeal to all its members to help raise money to buy an area of woodland and meadow that adjoins Upper Nethan Gorge Wildlife Reserve. This reserve is very similar to the Falls of Clyde but just on a smaller scale. The money needed was raised in what felt like only a few weeks and at the beginning of November we are going to celebrate the extension to the reserve by hosting a tree planting event.
On November 3rd between 1pm and 3pm why not come along and help us plant 500 trees, to increase these amazing woodlands in the Nethan Valley. For more information on this event and directions on how to get to Upper Nethan Gorge Wildlife Reserve, please call the Scottish Wildlife Trust Falls of Clyde Visitor Centre on 01555 665262.
