Our staff

The Trust has around 100 salaried staff, split between our headquarters in Edinburgh, a number of smaller regional offices and our three visitor centres in New Lanark, Dunkeld and Montrose.

We are very fortunate to have a highly supportive Council of Trustees, who bring their wide ranging expertise together to ensure that the Trust runs as efficiently and effectively as possible.

As a knowledge and evidence based organisation, the work of the Trust is supported by the Conservation Committee.
