Wyvis Wildlife Watch Group

Announcement: Our Wyvis Wildlife Watch group is launching on Saturday 12 October! If you would like to join us for our Fun with Fantastic Fungi and Lichens session, please email us to book on. We would love to see you there!

When?

The group runs on Saturdays about once a month, usually from 10am to midday. Occasionally, we hold a meeting in the evening so we can focus on nocturnal nature.

Where?

We choose the venues according to the subject so this changes each month. Parents are informed where to meet before the session. Locations are usually around Inverness or within 30 mins travel of Inverness.

For who?

The group is for children aged 8 – 12 years old (parents/guardians do not usually need to stay during session).

What we do

We explore nature and the natural world, focussing on different themes each month from trees to bees and scats to bats and everything in between! The sessions last 2 hours and are full of fun and activities to help children learn about the topic. All our sessions are outside.

How to get involved

To join our group, just get in touch with us via email: wyviswildlifewatch@gmail.com. Please contact us before coming to your first meeting to get up-to-date details of meeting place.
