Council Trustee

Title: Council Trustee

Status: Part time, occasional role

Location: Council meets in Edinburgh/online on a quarterly basis

Closing date: 31 May 2024

The Trust is seeking new trustees to help reinforce our governing body’s knowledge, expertise and diversity.

We recognise that our work will benefit hugely from increasing equality, diversity and inclusion across all our activities, especially as we want everyone to reconnect with nature and be part of the effort to reverse the loss of biodiversity.

Nature conservation has never been more important and everyone can contribute.

This year we would particularly welcome applications from individuals with governance, legal or accounting/finance experience.

We welcome and encourage applicants from across Scotland and of all backgrounds. We are open, welcoming and are committed to being a diverse, equal, and inclusive organisation. Be yourself with us and play your part in helping nature recover.

This is a great opportunity to join a vibrant and committed board of trustees, which provides the governance function for our charity.

Elected trustees will take office from this year’s AGM (held on 7 September) for an initial term of three years.

Completed nomination forms must be returned by 31 May 2024. For more details and to obtain a form, please contact Martin Cullen, Company Secretary
