Karen Chambers

Karen has been engaged with the Scottish urban and rural environments for over 20 years, working with a wide range of government organisations and local communities, particularly at the interface between people and the natural environment. Before establishing her own practice, Karen was Associate Director of an Edinburgh environmental planning consultancy and, for two years, Project Officer for the Millennium Forest for Scotland.

Karen has lectured in ecology to Masters landscape design students at Edinburgh and Heriot Watt Universities and has co-produced a couple of environmental documentaries. Spare time activities include printmaking and hillwalking. She has three grown children.
